PB’s Non-Sparking Titanium Safety Tools are recommended for use where hazardous, flammable or combustiblevapors, liquids, dusts or residues are present and should be used by all industrial safety programs. PB’s Safety Tools are an inexpensive investment for your company.

PB’s Non-Magnetic Titanium Safety Tools are ideal for use in strong magnetic fields (MRI magnetic resonance imaging), thanks to their anti-magnetic behaviour and non-ferrous properties. PB's Titanium Safety Tools are also designed to be used around sensitive magnetic equipment (including scanners, de-mining, disarming, etc.) where parts made of magnetic materials might cause disturbances. In the computer technology (e.g. hard disk / harddrives), in the automation with sensitive linear drives, or in the aviation industry for adjusting compasses.

PB’s Corrosion Resistant Titanium Safety Tools are the ideal choice when working in marine and offshoreenvironments, as well as chemical processing. Corrosion / rust can be extremely dangerous in hazardous environments. Impacts involving rust can initiate a thermal reaction which can cause an ignition in an explosive atmosphere. They are also suitable for being sterilized in autoclaves or with the help of aggressive chemicals.

Strength and Torque:

PB Titanium Safety Tools (Ti-6Al-4V) have a Rockwell C hardness between 30 – 45.
The following table shows the range of reachable torque for the small dimensions of the hex key L-wrenches:

With the hex key L-wrenches made of titanium, the recommended tightening torques can be reached without visible lasting deformation up to the screw quality 8.8. With bigger torques then the ones printed above in red, the plastic deformation of the hexagonal tips begins. After such use, the keys show a staying deformation and are therefore damaged.

All PB Titanium Safety Tools have a lifetime warranty against breakage or performance failure undernormal use. It is important that the user of PB’s Titanium Safety Tools keeps the Tools in clean working order. Like other personal protection equipment, is it each user’s duty to inspect the Tools before use.
